The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced another series of large-scale strikes on Iranian territory. Among other targets, a nuclear facility in the city of Esfahan, a centrifuge manufacturing workshop, was hit, The Times of Israel and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) report.

During the new wave of strikes on Iran, one of the key targets was a plant producing centrifuges for uranium enrichment in Esfahan. The Israeli military also reported damage to other facilities of the Iranian defense industry in the area.

The IAEA confirmed that a nuclear facility in Esfahan had been hit. The agency's director general, Rafael Grossi, assured that there was no risk of radiation danger, as there were no nuclear materials at the plant.

This is the third Iranian nuclear facility attacked by Israel in the last seven days. Previously, Israel struck a research center in Tehran and a centrifuge component factory in Karaj.

Israeli strikes on Iran

On the night of June 21, Israel launched large-scale strikes on Iranian nuclear and military facilities. As a result, a number of key infrastructure facilities were damaged.

Israel's operation against Iran began on the night of June 13. Since then, the Israeli Air Force has repeatedly struck Iranian territory. The IDF managed to eliminate Iranian commanders and at least 14 Iranian nuclear scientists in the first few days.
