'I pray': Madonna supports Ukrainian children suffering from war
American singer Madonna unexpectedly expressed support for Ukrainian children affected by the Russian invasion, according to the celebrity's Instagram.
Madonna expressed support for Ukrainian children
The singer posted a touching video showing scenes of children from around the world suffering from war.
She emphasized that they shouldn't have to endure this under any circumstances.
"Wherever there is conflict Children suffer…… Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, Yemen, Syria, Nigeria, Congo, Malawi……. The list goes on and on. We may not agree on much but I pray we can all agree that Our children need to be protected," the singer said.
Madonna reminded that on June 15, the Peace Summit will take place in Switzerland, dedicated to ending the war in Ukraine and returning over 19,000 Ukrainian children separated from their families and deported to Russia.
"I Stand for Peace for All Children Everywhere. All over the world. And I will never stop! I hope you will join Me," the singer wrote.
It's worth noting that this is not the first time Madonna has expressed support for Ukraine. In October 2023, the singer performed on stage with a Ukrainian flag.
