On the night of November 3, Russia launched 96 drones and a guided aviation missile at Ukraine. Most targets were successfully intercepted, the Ukrainian Air Force reports.

During the night, the enemy launched an attack with a guided aviation missile, Kh-59/69, from the Kursk region and released 96 strike drones and unmanned aerial vehicles of an unidentified type from Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The attack was countered by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation units, electronic warfare (EW) forces, and mobile fire groups.

As of 9:00 a.m. (Ukrainian time), the confirmed downings include the Kh-59/69 guided missile and 66 enemy drones. Air defense operations were conducted in the Kyiv, Sumy, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions.

In addition, 27 drones lost signal, one flew into Belarus, and two more remained airborne.

Consequences of the attack

During the night, several explosions were heard in Kyiv, and air defenses were activated. All drones headed for the capital were destroyed. Drone debris fell in the Shevchenkivskyi, Desnianskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts of the city.

Drone debris also fell in Chernihiv and Kyiv regions, causing damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Eight drones attacked Shostka in the Sumy region, destroying infrastructure facilities.
