Wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan dies suddenly at home in Florida

Legendary American wrestler, actor, and showman Hulk Hogan has died at the age of 71, TMZ reports.

On Thursday morning, medics responded to a call at the actor's home in Clearwater, Florida.
The reported cause of the emergency was a heart attack. Numerous police cars and ambulances were present at the scene.
The celebrity was taken out on a stretcher and transported to the hospital.
Just a few weeks ago, the wrestler's wife, Sky, denied rumors that he was in a coma, assuring the public that Hogan's "heart is strong" and that he was recovering from surgeries.
In June, reports surfaced that the athlete was on the brink of life and death, though at the time it was said to be due to complications following neck surgery he had undergone in May.

The actor's real name was Terry Gene Bollea. He was born on August 11, 1953, in the American state of Georgia.
He became famous worldwide for his film roles and achievements in the world of professional wrestling.
His theatrical matches in the ring captivated both adults and children, helping to turn wrestling into a mainstream show.
In 1996, he reinvented himself as a villain through the New World Order (NWO) group and became known as Hollywood Hulk Hogan.
