In Odesa, after another Russian drone attack, the fires have been extinguished, including those in residential buildings. Emergency responders have released footage from the site of the aftermath cleanup, according to the State Emergency Service.

"Russia has once again attacked Odesa. According to preliminary information, 2 people have been injured," reads the post on the State Emergency Service's social media.

The SES informed that as a result of the drone strikes by Russian forces, civilian infrastructure was damaged, and residential buildings and private enterprise buildings caught fire.

It was also noted that firefighters, volunteers, and a National Guard fire unit worked to extinguish the fires. The fire has already been put out.

"SES psychologists assisted local residents," the emergency responders added.

Evening drone attack on Odesa

On the evening of April 22, the Air Force reported the detection of several groups of Russian strike drones heading toward the Odesa region. The kamikaze drones moved from the Black Sea, specifically toward Odesa/Chornomorsk. Groups of Shaheds were also spotted on the outskirts of Odesa.

Against the backdrop of the threat of drone strikes, several explosions were heard in Odesa. There were also reports online of air defense operations in the city area.

Later, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, stated that during this drone attack, the civilian infrastructure of Odesa's suburbs was targeted by Russian forces. He also reported that as a result of the drone strikes, several fires broke out.

Additionally, he shared that preliminary information indicates two people were injured as a result of Russia's airstrike.
