Historic win: Ukrainian tennis player completes career-first ITF double in Kayseri

Ukrainian tennis player Vadym Ursu achieved a rare "golden double" at the ITF M15 tournament in Kayseri, Turkey, winning both the singles and doubles events.
Two finals for the Ukrainian player
In the singles final, the 28-year-old Ukrainian tennis player defeated the third seed, Turkey's Arda Azkara, in a tense three-set match (5:7, 6:4, 7:6 (11:9).
In the deciding set, Ursu came back from a 1:3 deficit in the tiebreak, failed to convert two match points, but eventually managed to outlast his opponent.
At the same time, he also competed in the doubles event alongside another Ukrainian player, 20-year-old Andrii Poritskyi. The duo reached the final and came from behind to defeat the pair of "neutral" Semen Pankin and Germany's Niklas Schell (2:6, 7:5, 10:6).
Thus, Ursu won two titles in a single tournament for the first time in his career. He had previously reached both finals twice but lost the decisive matches.
