Night attack on Ukraine

Starting on Wednesday evening and throughout the night, Russian forces launched kamikaze drones, first detected around 21:30 Kyiv time heading toward Sumy and Chernihiv. Later, drones targeted Kyiv, as well as Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Odesa was also hit, injuring a 30-year-old man, and damaging the facade and windows of an 11-story residential building, 14 cars, and a gas pipeline.

This fall, Russia has paused its massive missile attacks on Ukraine but continues nightly drone strikes, with Kyiv among the primary targets. What is the reason? Read RBC-Ukraine's article.
