Harris casts her ballot early for US presidential election
US presidential candidate Kamala Harris cast her ballot early in the presidential election. The Vice President chose to vote by mail, according to Deutsche Welle.
She told reporters on Sunday that she had just filled out her ballot.
Harris noted that her ballot is already on its way from Michigan to California, her home state.
"My ballot is on its way to California, and I'm going to trust the system that it will arrive there," the Vice President stated.
A few days ago, current US President Joe Biden also voted. He cast his ballot in Delaware at a polling place in New Castle, near Wilmington, where his private residence is located.
US election
It is important to note that voters can participate in the presidential election either in person at polling places or by mail. In both cases, voting is permitted until November 5 or directly on the main day of the US presidential election.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that as of November 3, over 75 million voters had participated in the American elections. This represents nearly half of the total number of voters in 2020.
