Hamas to release 13 hostages tomorrow as part of agreement with Israel
The ceasefire between Israel and HAMAS will take effect tomorrow, November 24, at 7 AM. Additionally, the release of hostages will occur at 4 PM, states a representative of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majed Al-Ansari.
He mentions that the first group of 13 Israeli hostages will be released tomorrow at 4:00 PM.
According to Al-Ansari, Doha has received a list of names of civilians whom the terrorist group HAMAS will release on the first day of the agreement, at least from four groups.
Responding to inquiries about hostages from other countries, he stated that initially, the focus "was on getting the women and children out of harm’s way", and spoke of "expanding the pause through the formula of getting more hostages out."
He mentions that the goal is for the cessation of hostilities to evolve into a "lasting truce."
Agreement on hostage release
Israel has devised a five-stage agreement for the release of hostages.
The Israeli Cabinet approved the agreement for the release of about 50 hostages. According to the plan, during the five-day ceasefire, militants will release 30 abducted children, eight mothers, and 12 other women.
Meanwhile, Israeli President Isaac Herzog stated that Jerusalem was experiencing a "critical hour" before the planned hostage release.
