Guerrillas record Russian occupiers' preparations for Yevpatoria defense
The Russian occupiers are making efforts to prepare the defense in Yevpatoria, Crimea. To do this, the Russian invaders are setting up a large number of engineering and fortification structures, according to the Atesh guerrilla movement.
"Agents of our movement are recording the efforts of the occupiers to create more engineering and fortification structures in the Yevpatoria district," the statement reads.
According to the guerrillas, they are building:
- firing points on construction sites located on the coastline;
- long-term firing points; and
- secret positions;
- "dragon's teeth" (anti-tank fortifications - ed.) with wire.
According to Atesh agents, fortifications are being built around the city and its borders.
"Construction is underway along the shoreline of Lake Sasyk-Sivash to the south of Yevpatoria, along the railroad, and to the north of Yevpatoria near the Donuzlav Bay," Ukrainian guerrillas inform.
Situation in Yevpatoria
Russian occupiers have set up firing positions right on the beaches of Yevpatoria in the temporarily occupied Crimea. In addition, Russia is deploying rare types of multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) to the front line. The unloading of Grad-1 was recorded by guerrillas in occupied Yevpatoria. The Russian Federation is also bringing "dragon's teeth" to the area of Yevpatoria by KamAZ trucks.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck at the location of a Russian air defense system near Yevpatoria in the temporarily occupied Crimea, which may indicate that the Russian air defense forces are not ready to repel Ukrainian attacks. According to Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat, Crimea is crammed with Russian air defense systems, but they cannot cope with the Western missiles that Ukraine has.
Recently, we reported that guerrillas sneaked into the airfield of Russian troops in Yevpatoria. As it turned out, it is not guarded all the time.
