Ukrainian fitness trainer and The Biggest Loser project expert, Maryna Borzhemska, shared her dietary yeses and nos, revealing the foods that help her stay in top shape.

What's always in her diet

At 45, Maryna manages to look her best and maintain her dream body thanks to regular exercise and a balanced diet.

She doesn't follow strict bans but focuses on balance, mindfulness, and flexibility. She always eats seasonal vegetables, high-quality protein, whole grains (such as bread; porridge is a must), and moderate amounts of fats, particularly those from plant- or animal-based sources.

Seasonal fruits and berries are also a staple. For snacks, she chooses nuts and always makes sure to stay hydrated.

What she avoids

Borzhemska's "no" in foods includes overeating, forcing herself to eat, bad habits, and empty calories.

"I mean chaotic consumption of fast food or trans fats. I don't eat them regularly, though I can't say I never have pizza with my kids at a café, or ice cream. Everything should be in balance," she explained.

She is very attuned to her body, so nutrition is not about dieting but about love and respect for oneself. Treats like chocolate or cake are also part of her life, but maintaining balance and a healthy relationship with food is key.
