German soldiers operating Patriot systems are helping to protect Polish airspace. Germany has also pledged to send fighter jets to strengthen NATO's defense, stated Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

Polish Defense Minister met with his German counterpart Boris Pistorius today. They visited German soldiers stationed in Poland with Patriot batteries as part of the reinforcement of NATO's integrated air defense.

"This was another opportunity to take stock of our security efforts in the region," emphasized the head of the Polish Ministry of Defense.

At the same time, Kosiniak-Kamysz thanked Pistorius for the promise to send aircraft for joint protection of the Polish sky.
