Germany provides Ukraine with new package of military aid
Germany has delivered a new package of military aid to Ukraine to counter Russian aggression. It includes protective eyewear, satellite communication terminals, and tank transporters, according to the German government's official page.
In particular, Berlin has provided Kyiv with 14 tracked all-terrain vehicles BV 206.
The package also includes:
- 1 bridging vehicle Biber;
- 2 armored recovery vehicles Wisent 1MC;
- 7 tank transporters HX81;
- 7 HX81 trailers and 8 trailers for them;
- Radios for Leopard tanks;
- 99 satellite communication terminals;
- 21 border protection vehicles;
- 1,202 infusion pumps;
- 32,823 40mm caliber ammunition for grenade launchers;
- 239 crypto phones;
- Spare parts kit for the Vector UAV;
- 20,000 protective eyeglasses, and more.
Aid from Germany
Germany has been one of the leading countries providing military assistance to Ukraine. Ukrainian forces have received tanks like the Leopard, air defense systems like IRIS-T and Patriot, ammunition, vehicles, drones, various artillery pieces, and more from Berlin.
As part of the military assistance package provided on August 17th, Germany delivered two IRIS-T short-range air defense missile system launchers to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At the end of September, Germany delivered a new package of military aid to Ukraine, which included trucks, SatCom satellite communication terminals, and tank transporters.
