There is currently no risk of war between Russia and NATO. The terrorist country is focused on aggression against Ukraine, according to German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

"At the moment, I see no danger of Russia attacking NATO or a NATO partner. But this is just a freeze frame. No one knows whether it will remain," Pistorius says.

According to the Minister, the Russian Federation is currently focused on the war against Ukraine and is facing major problems, despite its attempts to replenish its army.

At the same time, he emphasizes the importance of "the principle of deterrence, which we have known since the Cold War."

"And it (the Cold War - ed.) was much more predictable than the situation we have today," the Minister explains.

Publications in Western media

Recently, Western media have published a series of articles about Russia's plans to attack NATO countries. In particular, scenarios and infographics were published. Meanwhile, officials have already started calling for preparations for a possible war.

The discussion began after the publication of the German tabloid Bild, which allegedly received a secret document titled Alliance Defense 2025.
