FT reveals possible date of Trump and Zelenskyy next call

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his American counterpart Donald Trump will discuss tomorrow, July 4, the suspension of US military aid to Ukraine, the Financial Times (FT) reports.
According to people familiar with the situation, during the negotiations, Zelenskyy and Trump will discuss:
- the sudden halt of supplies of some key weapon types from the USA to Kyiv;
- the issue of possible future arms sales.
On Wednesday, July 2, Ukraine summoned a senior US diplomat after the unexpected decision by the Pentagon to stop deliveries of some advanced weapons systems. In particular, the President of Ukraine had lobbied for the purchase of American Patriot defense missiles during a meeting at the NATO summit, which Trump called "very nice."
The reports also indicate that the timing of the talks between the two leaders may change.
Suspension of US aid to Ukraine

The media reported that this concerns supplies of artillery shells, Stinger missiles, Patriot missiles, and more.
As Zelenskyy noted, Ukraine is already negotiating with Washington regarding the details of the situation.
Furthermore, Politico wrote that the President of Ukraine and his American counterpart may hold a telephone conversation amid the suspension of US aid.
