Russia concentrates its main efforts on the directions of Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka, where heavy fighting continues. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 16 artillery pieces belonging to the occupiers, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Facebook.

Enemy attacks

Last night, the Russian Federation carried out another attack on Ukraine using Iranian Shahed drones. The information about the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.

During the past 24 hours, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with Iranian Shahed-type combat drones. A total of 15 kamikaze drones were engaged, and as a result of successful combat operations by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, 11 combat drones were destroyed.

In total, the enemy conducted more than 60 aerial strikes and carried out 64 artillery shelling using multiple rocket launcher systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injured civilians, including children, and residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged.

The probability of missile and aerial strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

Frontline situation

The operational situation remains relatively stable in the Volyn and Polissia directions. There are no significant signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings. Identified units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are carrying out tasks in border areas adjacent to Ukraine.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence. Over the past day, they conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 10 villages in the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

Our soldiers are holding their defense in the Kupiansk direction. The enemy carried out an aviation strike in the area of Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region. The enemy's artillery and mortar shelling affected Figolivka, Novomylnske, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupiansk, and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Novoselivka in the Luhansk region. They launched aviation strikes near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Spirne, Berestove, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.

More than 15 villages in the Luhansk region, and three in the Donetsk region were subjected to artillery shelling.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out aviation strikes and artillery shelling in more than 15 villages in the Donetsk region.

On the Avdiivka direction, our defenders successfully repelled attacks by Russian forces in the areas of Avdiivka and Keramik in the Donetsk region, despite intense enemy aviation and artillery fire.

On the Marinka direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian forces. The enemy carried out an aviation strike near Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region and shelled more than 15 villages.

On the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Novomykhailivka and launched aviation strikes near Zolota Niva, Makarivka, and Rivnopolya in the Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy concentrates its main efforts on preventing further advancement of our troops. They conducted artillery shelling on more than 20 villages in the Zaporizhzhia region; Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Shliakhove, 5 villages in the Kherson region, as well as the city of Kherson.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation on the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions. They consolidate their positions, deliver artillery fire strikes on identified enemy targets, and conduct counter-battery measures.

Enemy losses

The Ukrainian defense aviation conducted six strikes on areas where the enemy's personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated, and four strikes on enemy air defense missile systems during the past 24 hours.

During the day, missile and artillery units hit one command post, 16 artillery positions, four air defense missile systems, and two electronic warfare stations of the enemy.

During the night of July 13, the Russian Federation attacked the capital of Ukraine with drones, causing fires in several districts of Kyiv, including residential high-rise buildings, resulting in casualties and injuries.
