Backstory
On July 21, current US President Joe Biden withdrew from the election scheduled for November 5, 2024. This decision was made due to health issues and his defeat to Trump in the first debate.
Instead of Biden, the new potential Democratic candidate is Vice President Kamala Harris, who has already garnered enough support within the party for her presidential candidacy.
Former President Donald Trump has expressed his intention to hold debates with Vice President Kamala Harris, emphasizing that he is ready to meet with her more than once.
