Sweden will transfer 10 high-speed Coast Guard boats to Ukraine. They will help emergency services carry out water rescue operations, according to the Swedish government.

The high-speed boats will be transferred directly to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service. All vessels will be delivered in their current technical condition.

"Sweden supports Ukraine on many fronts and is now further strengthening Ukraine’s maritime capabilities," said Swedish Minister for Civil Defense Carl-Oskar Bohlin.

He noted that the assistance would strengthen Ukraine’s capabilities in towing, demining and transportation.

Earlier, it was reported that Italy and France are preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine. According to Italian media, it will include four next-generation SAMP/T NG batteries, Aster 30 interceptor missiles and seven long-range radars.

It should also be noted that Sweden, the Netherlands, Spain and Poland have called on the European Commission to resume work on transferring frozen Russian assets to Ukraine. They urged the development of mechanisms that could overcome Belgium’s veto.

In addition, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently said that Ukraine had received additional Patriot missiles, Crotale systems and AIM missiles.
