Focus on incentives, not administrative measures: Ukraine's PM on refugees returning from abroad
In the matter of returning Ukrainians from abroad, there is no talk of administrative measures, only incentives, according to Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
"The fifth point is the return of Ukrainians from abroad. This is not about administrative measures, but exclusively about incentives. More security, better living conditions, more opportunities for self-realization," said Shmyhal.
According to him, programs within the country are working for this purpose, such as eRecovery, eOselia (eHousing), grants, and accessible credits for starting one's own business.
Kuleba calls on Ukrainians to return from abroad
Recently the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, called on Ukrainian citizens who left the country after the start of full-scale war to return and help defend the homeland from Russian aggression.
"We respect the individual choice of each person, but we also call on all Ukrainians who have left the country since the beginning of the full-scale invasion to consider returning home," Kuleba emphasized.
According to the minister, he understands that some people may not have the opportunity to return due to health reasons or other circumstances.
"But those who can, we invite to return and help Ukraine fight and survive with their direct personal contribution," added the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is worth noting that since the start of the full-scale invasion, over 6 million citizens have left Ukraine.
