Zelenskyy confirms Ukraine allowed to strike Russian territory with Western missiles

Ukraine is working to ensure that all countries support long-range capabilities, including Germany, stated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

"And now, when there are appropriate decisions, not only in the media but also from the relevant countries, it is very important to add to these decisions the number of capabilities that we can use to reduce the military potential of the Russian Federation wherever it is located," Zelenskyy said.

Ukraine strikes Russian territory with ATACMS for first time, source says

For the first time, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck Russian territory with ATACMS ballistic missiles. The target was successfully hit, an informed source within the Defense Forces said to RBC-Ukraine.

According to the source, the strike targeted a military facility near the city of Karachev in the Bryansk region.

US prepares new military aid package for Ukraine

It will be announced in the coming days. The package will include air defense systems, states the US Permanent Representative to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield.

"The US will continue to surge security assistance to Ukraine, including artillery, air defense, armored weapons, and other needed capabilities and ammunitions, and we will announce additional security assistance for Ukraine in the days to come," Thomas-Greenfield stated.

Russia launched 2,500 missiles and drones at Kyiv in 1,000 war days, half in 2024

In 1,000 days of Russia's full-scale invasion, Kyiv experienced 1,369 air raid alerts, totaling over 1,553 hours. Russian forces launched more than 2,500 missiles and drones at the city, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported.

One of the largest assaults included almost 80 missiles and drones fired at the city in a single night.

Ukrainian military confirms ammo depot targeting in Bryansk: Details

The Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted a second strike on an ammunition depot in Russia's Bryansk region, causing at least 12 secondary explosions and detonations, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At 2:30 a.m., Kyiv time, 12 secondary explosions and continuous detonations had been recorded at the target site.
