Fires erupt across occupied Sevastopol after massive Ukrainian drone attack

According to the Kremlin-appointed official in Sevastopol, Russian military forces, aviation, air defense units, and mobile fire groups attempted to repel a massive attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine overnight.

In addition, he assured residents that more than 30 Ukrainian drones had allegedly been neutralized in total.

Razvozhayev also effectively acknowledged that the strikes by Ukraine's Defense Forces resulted in no deaths or injuries among civilians.

"Particularly active operations are currently underway in the Balaklava district. If you are awake, move away from the windows and remember the two-wall rule — move to a room separated from the exterior wall by two load-bearing structures (a bathroom, toilet, corridor, or hallway)," the Russian-installed governor told Sevastopol residents.

He also added that debris from "downed unmanned aerial vehicles" had allegedly fallen at several locations.

Moreover, fires are raging in several areas of the city, and efforts are already underway to extinguish them.

Razvozhayev did not disclose the number of drones that Ukraine's Defense Forces launched at Sevastopol, nor did he say which military targets they struck this time.

Earlier, Russian forces declared a "special regime" in Sevastopol following a large-scale Ukrainian attack.

Details have also emerged about a new attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Novorossiysk. This time, Ukrainian forces used naval drones.
