The Russian occupation army attacked Lviv and its region with drones during the night of September 19. A fire broke out, reports Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

As a result of the strike on Lviv's territory, a fire was detected at an industrial warehouse.

"All relevant services have been dispatched to the scene," said Sadovyi.

Earlier in the region, sounds of explosions were heard. The Chief of the Lviv Regional Military Administration reported the activation of air defense forces.

Furthermore, the Ukrainian Air Force had previously warned that there is a threat of the enemy using kamikaze drones in the Lviv region.

One person injured as a result of the strike in Lviv

The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration confirmed that a fire started at an industrial warehouse as a result of the attack on Lviv. He stated that one person has been rescued from the debris and injured. There is a significant fire at the warehouses.

Kozitskyi added that the threat of new attacks remains, and all residents are urged to take shelter during the air raid alerts.

In a number of regions in Ukraine, an air raid alert was declared during the night of September 19. The Ukrainian Air Force reported groups of attack drones in the sky over our country. In addition to Lviv, explosions were heard in the Khmelnytskyi region and Kryvyi Rih.
