In Russian-occupied Crimea, fires broke out near the major Titan electrical substation in Armiansk following drone attacks, according to the Crimean Wind Telegram channel.

According to the monitoring channel, at around 1:00 a.m. local time, the sounds of Russian air defense were heard in the area of the Perekop rampart. Soon after, NASA's FIRMS satellites detected fires in the area.

"This is where the 220 kV Titan substation is located. It is unknown whether it was hit," wrote Crimean Wind.

What is known about Titan

The Titan substation in Armiansk is one of the key energy facilities in the north of occupied Crimea. It supplies electricity to industrial enterprises, including the Crimean Titan chemical plant. Operating at a voltage of 220 kV, it plays a crucial role in the region's power system.

The facility is located near the Perekop rampart — an important transport and infrastructure hub through which power lines and logistics routes pass. Disabling it could have serious consequences for the power supply of the occupying forces and industrial sites in Crimea.

Earlier, Ukrainian drones from the Prymary ("Ghosts") special unit successfully struck a Russian S-400 air defense system in occupied Crimea, hitting both the target acquisition and tracking radars as well as a launcher.

In addition, Ukrainian intelligence units in Crimea destroyed two Russian landing craft and a Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system using drones.
