Fire breaks out at Russian factory producing rocket engines

On the night of September 2, a fire broke out at the Proton-PM plant in the Russian city of Perm, according to Exilenova+.
What is known about the fire
The sky above the plant was covered in thick black smoke, according to eyewitnesses. Published photos show a large column of smoke rising above the plant building and fence.
The cause of the fire has not yet been reported.
What the Proton-PM plant does
Proton-PM JSC is one of Russia's leading enterprises in the rocket and space and machine-building industries.
The plant produces powerful liquid-propellant rocket engines, as well as components for the country's aviation and aerospace industries.
On the night of August 21, Ukrainian drones struck an oil refinery in Perm and the Marinovka military airfield in Russia's Volgograd region.
That same day, a strike on a Russian Su-34 aircraft at the Akhtubinsk airfield was confirmed.
Meanwhile, on the night of August 25, drones struck Russia's Krasnodar region and Rostov region.
The attack caused a massive fire at the Afipsky oil refinery.
