Today's explosions in the Voronezh region of Russia were the result of an attack by Ukrainian Security Service drones. A large ammunition depot came under attack, according to RBC-Ukraine sources.

Drones caused a powerful explosion at a field ammunition depot near the village of Sergeyevka. Russians stored surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles, shells for tanks and artillery, and boxes of ammunition for firearms on 9,000 square meters.

"From this warehouse, the occupiers supply ammunition to their troops in Ukraine," the sources said.

Residents heard an explosion at night, followed by a powerful detonation. A column of smoke is visible for tens of kilometers.

"They say that, according to the SSU's explosions forecast, in the near future, there will be a high probability of sudden detonations at the facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex, which is working for the war against Ukraine," the sources added.

Sergeyevka is located in the area bordering Ukraine.

Today Russian media reported on hits in the Podgorensky district of Voronezh region. As a result, the detonation of "explosive devices" has been going on for several hours.

Local governor Aleksandr Gusev said that 50 people were evacuated to temporary accommodation centers. Some residents of nearby settlements went to their relatives.

It was also reported that the fire at one of the oil depots in the Krasnodar region was extinguished only on the second day after the drone attack.
