Explosions reported near Russian military unit linked to war crimes

On the morning of December 24, ahead of Christmas, two explosions were heard near a military unit of the 80th Brigade in the city of Ussuriysk in Russia's Primorsky Krai. The unit is known for its war crimes in Ukraine, according to sources in Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR).
According to sources, two explosions occurred in the parking area of military unit 19288 — the 80th Vitebsk Red Banner Command Brigade.
At the same time, official Russian sources traditionally avoid providing details of the incident. In local media reports, the event is described as an alleged welding machine pop.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses are posting photos and videos from the scene on social media.
The footage shows a significant presence of police, FSB officers, and firefighting units. Residents note that dozens of security personnel, including representatives of special services, were involved in dealing with the consequences of the alleged technical malfunction.
Intelligence sources note that Russian forces from the 80th Command Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces took an active part in the aggressive war against Ukraine.
There are known facts of war crimes committed by them, including the shooting of civilians in temporarily occupied territories, including children.
Other successful operations by the HUR
On the night of December 21–22, strike drones attacked the Tamanneftegaz marine oil terminal in Russia's Krasnodar region.
A fire broke out at a Russian military airfield near Lipetsk, where two enemy Su-30 and Su-27 fighter jets were burning.
Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence officers destroyed a Russian An-26 military transport aircraft and two other high-value enemy targets in temporarily occupied Crimea.
