Explosions reported in Kyiv as air defense systems engage

In Kyiv, explosions were heard as air defense forces engaged enemy drones, according to a local correspondent, the Air Forces, and Kyiv City Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko.
“A strike drone over Kyiv, coming from the Brovary direction,” the military reported at 01:18 Kyiv time.
Tkachenko stated that an alert has been issued in the capital due to enemy drones.
“It may be loud. Proceed to the nearest shelter and stay there until the alert is over!” said the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

The air raid alert in Kyiv has been lifted.
The enemy Shahed drone moved out of the city toward the west and is no longer detected.
Shahed drone attacks on September 28
Since the evening of Saturday, September 27, Russian forces have been launching Shahed kamikaze drones at Ukraine. Air raid alerts were issued in the eastern, northern, southern, and central regions.
Around 01:00 Kyiv time, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia. Strike drones are targeting the city, and there was also a reported risk of high-speed missile strikes in the oblast.
Earlier on Saturday, Russian forces struck a civilian car with a drone in the Sumy region, resulting in the death of a man.
