Explosions reported in Kyiv and Lutsk amid widespread air defense activity

Explosions were heard in Kyiv on the night of July 12, with the city’s air defense systems actively operating, reports the Ukrainian Air Force channel.
"Kyiv — threat of strike drones! Air defense may be active. During the alert, stay in shelters," the Air Force announced.
Shortly before this, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko confirmed that air defenses were active in the Holosiivskyi district.
Notably, air raid alerts continue in many regions. Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk also reported that air defenses are active. Explosions were likewise reported in Rivne.
Attacks on Kyiv
Kyiv continues to face regular shelling from Russian forces. Following an attack on the night of July 7, damage was recorded in three districts.
Shrapnel damaged the facade of an administrative building, a gas pipeline, a water supply pipe, and several vehicles.
