The Russian army launched another massive combined strike on Ukrainian territory overnight on Thursday, October 30, with explosions reported in Ivano-Frankivsk, according to Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv.

"Air defense is operating! Stay alert," wrote Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv following explosions in the city.

Shortly before that, the Ukrainian Air Force had reported cruise missiles heading toward Ivano-Frankivsk. Almost immediately after the blasts, local groups began reporting power outages across the city.

Martsinkiv later confirmed the disruptions, noting that Ukraine’s energy infrastructure was under attack.

"There may be power interruptions! The country’s energy infrastructure is under fire," he said.

As of 5:50 AM Kyiv time, no damage or casualties had been reported.

Overnight, Russian forces once again attacked Ukraine’s energy and civilian infrastructure, using Shahed drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic weapons.

Russia also deployed MiG-31K fighter jets, launching Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.

As a result of the attacks, power outages were reported in the Mykolaiv region, where passenger trains are expected to run with delays.

In Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro, powerful explosions were also recorded as the cities came under ballistic missile fire.

Monitoring channels reported at least four missiles hitting Zaporizhzhia within ten minutes, while regional authorities confirmed that an infrastructure facility was targeted.
