Today, in the Vladivostok area, a Russian main gas pipeline exploded, and a water pipeline was also destroyed. These facilities supplied the 155th Brigade of the Russian army, RBC-Ukraine reports, referring to sources in Ukraine's Defense Intelligence.

In particular, in the Russian Far East, as a result of an explosion and subsequent fire, branches of the Vladivostok main gas pipeline running along the coast of the Sea of Japan were destroyed.

According to sources in Ukrainian Intelligence, the gas pipeline supplies gas to a number of Russian military facilities located along the coast of the Sea of Japan. This refers to separate units of the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Armed Forces.

The part of this gas pipeline was commissioned in March 2025.

In addition, today, by means of an explosion, the water pipeline supplying drinking water to military garrisons was destroyed.

According to the source, the explosions occurred around 1–2 a.m. on July 5. After that, a large fire broke out, and later Russian security services and repair teams arrived at the scene.

To conceal information from the local population, given the celebration of the 165th anniversary of the founding of the city of Vladivostok, local security services shut down mobile internet and communications in the Lazurnaya Bay (Shamora) area.

Explosions in Vladivostok

On May 30, in the Russian Vladivostok near Desantnaya (Landing) Bay, two powerful explosions sounded.

One in the area of the checkpoint, and the second - in the place where the personnel and command of the military unit were located (this concerns the location of the 47th Separate Air Assault Battalion of the 155th Separate Naval Infantry Brigade of the Russian Army).

These explosions were the result of a successful operation by Ukraine's Defense Intelligence. Sources of RBC-Ukraine said that as a result of this operation, enemy manpower, military equipment, and special means were hit.

Other Russian losses

In recent days, the reports indicated that in the Kursk region, the state-awarded hero of Russia, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Mikhail Gudkov was eliminated.

Telegram channels first reported this news, and later the information was officially confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense. The Ministry stated that Gudkov died during combat duty in one of the border areas of the Kursk region.

Public pages also revealed that together with him, his loyal comrade, Nariman Shikhaliyev, was killed.
