Explosions in Belgorod, reports of shopping center being hit
Explosions rocked the Russian city of Belgorod today, February 15. Russians claim a supposed attack on a shopping center, according to Russian media and Telegram channels.
Russians claim that the explosions in Belgorod occurred after 12:00 PM (Kyiv time). Russian media insist that the city was allegedly shelled, and as usual, blame Ukraine.
Online sources suggest there was an attack on one of the shopping centers. Additionally, Russian Telegram channels assert that there are at least five dead and 19 injured.
The Ukrainian side has not commented on the situation yet.
Situation in Belgorod
At the end of December 2023, Russians complained about shelling in Belgorod and the surrounding region. RBC-Ukraine sources in the special services reported that on December 30, the Security and Defense Forces launched a missile strike on military targets in Belgorod.
According to Russian complaints, the shelling continued in early January, with Russians writing about attacks and operation of air defense systems.
