On Wednesday, December 6, explosions were heard in two districts in the temporarily occupied Mariupol. In addition, a fire broke out in the area of the Ilyich plant, according to the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko.

"Mariupol. It's loud. The Central and Kalmius districts are celebrating St. Nicholas Day on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We are finding out the details," he wrote, adding that the occupiers have already invented the so-called "work of the air and space forces" instead of "air defense work."

Andriushchenko also said that in addition to the explosions, a fire broke out in Mariupol, not far from the Ilyich Iron and Steel Works.

"What do today's explosions have to do with it?" Andriushchenko asks rhetorically, attaching the video.
