In occupied Crimea, residents are complaining about loud bangs. According to pro-Russian war correspondents, training exercises are taking place on the peninsula, but local social media channels are reporting enemy attacks, according to Russian Telegram channels.

According to pro-Russian public sources, the Russian Ministry of Defense is conducting training exercises in the Chornomorskyi district until 4:00 AM on July 18.

Meanwhile, local channels report that the explosions are particularly loud in the areas of Myrne and Novoozerne. They note that these locations are not in the Chornomorskyi district, where the training is allegedly taking place, but in Yevpatoria.

Subscribers to Russian channels have stated that the explosions in Novoozerne caused windows to shatter and reportedly led to power outages, although this information requires verification.

Additionally, reports of bangs have come from the Donuzlav area. Public channels also mentioned hearing explosions and gunfire in the area of Kozatska Bay. It was reported that a helicopter was firing in bursts at a target, and some ground impacts were visible.

As of now, there are no official details. However, one Russian propagandist wrote that the loud noises heard in Sevastopol were due to Russian forces repelling an attempted attack by a surface drone, which was allegedly destroyed.
