Explosions erupt in Kyiv right after ballistic missile alert

In Kyiv, during the night of June 6, a second wave of powerful explosions shook the city following a ballistic threat warning from the Ukrainian Air Forces, reports Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
Reports indicate that ballistic missile launches were detected from Russia’s Kursk and Bryansk regions. Loud explosions were heard across various parts of the capital.
“Preliminarily, the enemy struck a regular educational facility in the Solomianskyi district. That’s their style — hitting residential buildings and social infrastructure,” said Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, following the series of blasts.
According to him, the aftermath of the Russian attack has also been recorded in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the city.
