An attack on a chemical plant in Krasnozavodsk is reported in the Moscow region. The plant produces important components for the Russian defense industry, according to ASTRA and the head of Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko.

Local Telegram channels are reporting a possible attack on the facility.

There is no official confirmation yet. There is also no information on the extent of the damage, casualties, or consequences for the civilian population.

The Krasnozavodsk Chemical Plant is one of Russia's key defense enterprises, part of the Rostec state corporation.

It specializes in the production of protective equipment for aircraft, anti-terrorist equipment, and products for the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other law enforcement agencies of Russia.

The plant has the status of a city-forming enterprise in Krasnozavodsk.

According to Kovalenko, the Krasnozavodsk Chemical Plant, which produces explosives, powders, and components for ammunition and missile weapons, was attacked in the Moscow region of Russia.

He emphasizes that this is an important link in the technological chain of supplying the Russian army with artillery shells, multiple launch rocket systems, and ballistic missiles.

In mid-April, Russia claimed that drones massively attacked the city of Kursk, where dozens of explosions and fires broke out.

Russia has also recently reported a naval drone attack on Novorossiysk, where the port is located. Locals reported a combined attack.

The Strela defense plant in the Bryansk region of Russia has stopped working because of an air attack. This enterprise worked for the Russian military-industrial complex.
