European Union to allocate €50 million for port repairs in Ukraine
The European Union will allocate 50 million euros to Ukraine. This money will be used to repair port infrastructure, stated the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
"Despite the war, Ukraine keeps feeding the world. In this effort, you can count on the EU. We continue enhancing our Solidarity Lanes and will provide €50 million to repair your port infrastructure," she wrote.

EU assistance to Ukraine
At the end of October, Ukraine received the ninth tranche of macro-financial assistance from the European Union in the amount of €1.5 billion. In mid-November, it was announced that the European Commission would allocate €110 million for humanitarian aid, of which €100 million would go to help in Ukraine and €10 million to support Ukrainian refugees in Moldova.
At the same time, after joining the European Union, Ukraine will be entitled to receive 186 billion euros from the EU budget over seven years.
