Estonian Prime Minister arrives in Kyiv
Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal has arrived in Kyiv for a visit. According to his Twitter account, he plans to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other Ukrainian officials.
According to Michal, during his visit, he plans to meet with Zelenskyy, his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal, and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk.

“Supporting Ukraine until victory will remain Estonia’s priority, we will make no concessions. Ukraine’s victory is a win for Europe, the US and to the whole democratic world,” Michal stated.
Additionally, it should be noted that today, December 9, Friedrich Merz, the Christian Democratic Union candidate for German Chancellor, arrived in Kyiv for an unannounced visit.
Estonia’s support for Ukraine
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Estonia has provided significant support to Ukraine, including financial, humanitarian, and military assistance. Tallinn recently announced a new aid package for Kyiv, including equipment and ammunition.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna has emphasized that Europe must be prepared to deploy military forces to Ukraine to support a potential peace agreement between Kyiv and Moscow.
