Elon Musk donates to fund supporting Trump election campaign
Billionaire Elon Musk has donated money to the America PAC fund. It supports former President Donald Trump in the US election race, reports Bloomberg.
According to the media, it is unclear how much Musk donated, but people characterized the figure as a "sizable amount."
The next time America PAC is to publish its list of donors is July 15. Elon Musk donated to the super-PAC, which is working to elect Donald Trump to the White House.
"The move highlights the growing influence of a technology mogul who tops the Bloomberg Billionaires Index with a net worth of $263.6 billion," the media says.
According to Bloomberg, Musk has not yet publicly endorsed any candidate in the 2024 US presidential election. Earlier this year he said he had no plans to finance either Trump or Biden in the election, but "his decision to open his pocketbook presents an opportunity for him to become a financial juggernaut for Republicans."
