Assistance from the Netherlands

We remind that in January of this year, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov stated that the Netherlands would provide Ukraine with assistance that would significantly strengthen the defense of the skies.

And already in March, it became known that the Netherlands would accelerate the allocation of the promised 3.5 billion euros in aid for Ukraine. The country will send 2 billion euros this year, and not in 2026. This was stated by the spokesman of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof, after a meeting in Paris on March 27.

In addition, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, after a recent business trip to the Netherlands, stated that the country would allocate financial assistance for drones for Ukraine. According to him, the amount discussed was 700 million euros.

According to him, they also discussed the development of the Drone Line with Dutch colleagues. Umerov added that the Netherlands is among the leaders in supporting Ukraine and emphasized that this support remains unchanged.
