Drones strike Russia's Voronezh region, causing fire and detonations
A fire broke out in Russia's Voronezh region following a drone attack, triggering the detonation of explosive materials, according to Russian media.
According to the governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, the drones that attacked the area were allegedly neutralized by air defense systems, and the fire began due to falling debris. However, the governor did not specify the exact location of the fire or what was detonating.
He claims that no casualties or damage to civilian buildings have been reported so far.
Multiple Russian channels reported that an ammunition depot is burning in Ostrogozhsk.
It is worth noting that on the night of August 22, drones attacked the Marinovka military airfield in Russia's Volgograd region. Satellite images captured the blaze at the airfield.
Earlier, on August 16, Ukrainian kamikaze drones attacked Russia’s Savasleyka airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
