On the night of July 31, Ukrainian drones attacked several regions in Russia. Specifically, FP-1 drones struck the Wildberries logistics hub and an oil refinery in Volgograd, according to the Center for Strategic Communications (SPRAVDI) and Fire Point.
Volgograd
Drones struck the Lukoil-Volgograd oil refinery and the Wildberries logistics center. Large-scale fires broke out at the sites of the strikes.
The Volgograd oil refinery is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia, with a capacity of approximately 15 million metric tons of crude oil per year.
The plant produces gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and other petroleum products, playing a vital role in fuel supply to Russia’s southern regions.
The Wildberries logistics hub is one of the largest centers for the storage, sorting, and distribution of goods, covering an area of 44,000 square meters.
Such complexes ensure the uninterrupted operation of one of Russia’s largest marketplaces, through which, among other things, military and dual-use goods were sold.

Kaspiysk (Dagestan)
Residents reported drone attacks and explosions in the area of the seaport.

Tatarstan
Explosions were heard in Kazan and Zelenodolsk. According to preliminary data, Wildberries facilities may have been targeted.
Nizhnekamsk
Preliminary reports indicate that the TAIF-NK oil refinery was attacked. It is reported that the facility has begun reducing pressure.
Consequences of Ukraine's strikes on Russia
Over the past two months, Ukrainian drones have disabled approximately 40% of Russia’s oil refining capacity. As a result, roughly 50 million Russians are facing a fuel shortage.
Moreover, Ukraine’s strikes on Russian oil refineries deep behind enemy lines have not only led to fuel shortages at gas stations but have also begun to affect the country’s economy as a whole.
Elvira Nabiullina, Chair of the Central Bank of Russia, stated that the fuel crisis was already affecting the prices of goods and services.
Wildberries is considering moving part of its logistics operations to Kazakhstan. Amid attacks by Ukrainian drones, the company is urgently seeking new warehouse space.
