Drones hit Russia's Taganrog overnight, igniting port and aviation college

A drone attack continued throughout the night in Taganrog. Fires broke out in two locations at once, in the port area and near the aviation college, according to OSINT sources and Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation.
Fire near the port
According to residents, a fire broke out in the port area of Taganrog. The city was under drone attack all night.
The port terminal of the company Kurganneftoprodukt (formerly Yugtransitservice) is on fire.
The terminal’s main function is the loading and unloading of petroleum products onto seagoing vessels.

Fire near aviation college
Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation, also reported a fire following a nighttime attack, specifying that the blaze broke out near the Taganrog Aviation College named after V. M. Petlyakov
This educational institution trains specialists for the aviation and machine-building industries in the Rostov region.
This is not the first attack on Taganrog. On the night of May 30, the Unmanned Systems Forces destroyed an Iskander missile and two Tu-142 aircraft at the city’s military airfield.
As of the end of June 2026, Ukrainian drones had successfully struck eight of the ten largest oil refineries in Russia, significantly undermining the enemy’s overall oil refining capacity.
