On the night of May 30, the Unmanned Systems Forces destroyed an Iskander system and two Tu-142 aircraft at a military airfield in Taganrog, Rostov region of Russia, according to Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces.
The Tu-142 is a long-range anti-submarine aircraft based on a strategic bomber platform.
The Iskander operational-tactical missile system is a Russian ground-to-ground missile complex. It was reportedly targeted at a launch position on the outskirts of Taganrog.
"A courtesy visit to Taganrog was carried out by the Birds of the 1st Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces. The result was not limited to the list of targets mentioned above — things also 'heated up' near the water. Video to follow," Brovdi added.
