Drones attacked from five directions: How Ukraine beat back the overnight assault

On the night of June 4, Russians attacked Ukraine with more than 90 drones from five directions. The Air Defense Forces told how many enemy drones were destroyed.
On the night of June 4, the Russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukraine, using 95 Shahed-type attack drones and various imitation drones.
The attacks were launched from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The main targets were the Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipro, Odesa, and Donetsk regions.
Ukraine's defense forces actively countered the air attack: aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups neutralized a large number of enemy drones.
As of 9:00 am Kyiv time, Ukraine's air defense destroyed 61 Shahed UAVs. Of these, 36 were shot down by direct fire, and another 25 were lost or suppressed by electronic warfare.
Enemy air strikes were reportedly recorded in 7 locations.
Night drone attack
On the night of June 4, a night attack with Russian drones in the Sumy region damaged a bioethanol plant and caused a molasses spill. Preliminary, at least 12 drone strikes were recorded.
