In the Rostov region of Russia, drones attacked four vessels in Taganrog Bay. According to Russian media reports, one person was killed, Rostov region Governor Yuri Slyusar says.

Four vessels of various types in Taganrog Bay came under attack. According to him, one person, a sailor on a support vessel, was killed.

Local air defense forces, according to Slyusar, shot down more than 15 drones over Taganrog, as well as in the Azov and Neklin districts.

What about tanker?

Among the vessels attacked was a methanol tanker.

According to Russian media reports, there is no risk of a spill, and the vessels sustained only minor damage.

The night before, a drone attack raged throughout the city all night—fires broke out simultaneously in two locations: near the port and near the aviation college.

On the night of May 30, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed an Iskander missile and two Tu-142 aircraft at the city’s military airfield.

And as of the end of June 2026, Ukrainian drones had successfully struck 8 of the ten largest oil refineries in Russia, significantly undermining Russia’s overall oil refining capacity.
