There has been a significant increase in the effectiveness of strikes against Russia, which are inflicting painful losses on the aggressor's military infrastructure and logistics. Key Russian military targets have been hit as a result of the operations, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"I held a meeting on deep strikes – our entirely justified responses to Russian attacks," Zelenskyy explains.

According to him, representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, and National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov reported on the situation. In general, the reports were about the results of Ukrainian operations, namely:

  • the scale of damage in Russia,
  • the ratio between the cost of the strike and the result,
  • the impact on Russia's military machine.

He also notes that it is important that the balance between investments in various types of long-range weapons and their achievements is becoming more attractive for Ukraine.

"Russian logistics, military sites used to bomb our territory, and elements of their war economy have suffered significant losses," the President says.

Zelenskyy says that during the conversation, they also identified priorities for diplomatic strikes and our defense industries.

"Russia’s attempts to prolong the war will come at a cost. I am grateful to everyone working to strengthen Ukraine. Proud of our warriors!" he concludes.

Situation on the front

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia's losses since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine have already exceeded one million in manpower. In the past 24 hours alone, Ukrainian defenders have eliminated over a thousand Russian troops.

The situation remains difficult in Pokrovsk. According to local authorities, it is almost impossible to enter the city or deliver humanitarian and medical aid.
