Drone strikes air defense radar station in Crimea, Media reports

A drone damaged a Russian air defense radar station in temporarily occupied Crimea on February 26, the Telegram channel Astra reports.
During the attack, the drone struck the area of a mobile command post belonging to the 31st Air Defense Division of the Russian Armed Forces near the village of Olenivka in the Tarkhankut Cape region.
"As a result, the mobile radar station was damaged. There were no casualties," Astra reported.
Occupation of Crimea
The Russian occupation of the Crimean Peninsula began in late February 2014, when Russian military forces took control of strategic locations, including government buildings, military bases, and airports.
On March 16, under the control of occupying forces, an illegal pseudo-referendum on the region’s "annexation" to Russia was held. Its results were not recognized by Ukraine, the European Union, the United States, and most countries worldwide.
Recently, Brian Lanza, Advisor to US President Donald Trump, suggested that the return of Crimea to Ukrainian control is supposedly an unrealistic scenario.
