On the night of June 14, drones struck several facilities in Russia, one of which was the Spetstorg Plus oil depot in Rybinsk, located near the Yaroslavl oil refinery, according to OSINT channels.
Yaroslavl region governor Mikhail Yevrayev, around half past four on Sunday morning, warned residents of the region about a drone threat and urged them to follow recommendations.
"A drone threat has been declared in the Yaroslavl region. Remain calm. If you are outside, leave open areas and try to take shelter in the nearest buildings. Indoors, it is important to cover windows with thick curtains or lower blinds, move away from windows to a safe distance, and try to stay in rooms with solid walls," the official wrote shortly before the drones eventually hit the oil depot.
Yevrayev also reported that due to the shelling of the oil depot, the exit from Yaroslavl towards Moscow has been closed.
Prior to this, Russian air defenses were active in the Yaroslavl region, but the drones still carried out the attack. Later, footage from witnesses began appearing in public channels, showing from various angles a fire and huge columns of smoke rising high into the sky.

The Spetstorg Plus oil depot is located near the Yaroslavl oil refinery and contains tanks with a capacity of over 300,000 cubic meters.
Because of its strategic importance for Russia's energy sector and for supplying the occupier's army, the facility has regularly been a target of Ukrainian drones, which have attacked it repeatedly, especially in the spring and early summer of 2026.
The oil depot in Rybinsk is not the only drone victim of this night. There have already been reports of an attack on the chemical plant in Novomoskovsk and strikes on railway infrastructure in the Smolensk region and occupied Ilovaisk in the Donetsk region.
The attack on the Azot chemical plant in Novomoskovsk is also far from the first — drones have previously struck this facility, which also plays an important role for the aggressor's economy and army supply.
