On the night of Saturday, October 11, the Russian army carried out a massive drone strike on the city of Chuhuiv in Kharkiv region. One person was reported injured, according to Chuhuiv Mayor Halyna Minaieva on Facebook and the State Emergency Service (DSNS).

According to city authorities, the Russian attack caused a fire. As a result, electricity was cut off in parts of Chuhuiv. One person was injured and received medical assistance on site.

The DSNS clarified that during the night, the enemy carried out drone strikes on Chuhuiv and the village of Velykyi Burluk in Kupiansk district. The attacks caused damage and fires.

It later became known that the strike caused serious damage to a private company, and three houses were damaged. Energy workers are currently on site to assess the extent of the damage to the electrical networks and restore power as quickly as possible.

Massive attack on Ukraine

On the night of October 10, Russia carried out a massive combined attack on Ukraine, using various types of strike drones and missiles. According to the Ukrainian Air Forces, radio-technical troops detected and tracked 497 aerial targets.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the enemy used over 450 drones and more than three dozen missiles that night. The attack targeted facilities essential for the lives of Ukrainians.
