Drone production in Ukraine increased 100-fold in two years

Over the past two years, drone production in Ukraine has increased 100-fold. Almost all drones currently being purchased are made in Ukraine, according to the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.
Fedorov explained that two years ago, the country started developing the drone market from scratch.
"At that time, there were only 7 manufacturers from which the government could buy drones. Now there are over 100, and production has increased 100-fold," he emphasized.
Moreover, the Minister noted that most of the drones purchased by the government are produced in Ukraine.
"Currently, 96% of the drones acquired by the government are of Ukrainian manufacture," he explained.
Recently Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine used more drones in July than Russia.
Additionally, he mentioned that Ukraine plans to increase the production of long-range drones.
We also reported that one of Ukraine’s drone manufacturing companies has expanded its operations to Slovakia. The Skyeton company has invested $3.5 million in a drone manufacturing plant in Slovakia.
